My name is Moundir, and I’ve spent the last 20 years walking the heart of Fez, Morocco. Born and raised deep within the Medina, this 1,200-year-old labyrinth isn't just my workplace it's my childhood home. Today, I have the honor of sharing its living history with travelers from all over the world, with a special place in my heart for my guests from the United States.
I believe the best way to see a city is through the eyes of someone who truly loves it. I’m not here to recite dates and facts from a dusty script. I’m here to take you to my mother’s neighbor for the freshest msemen in the neighborhood, show you the secret rooftop where I watched the sunset as a boy, and introduce you to the master copper artisans who have been my friends for decades.
With a national guiding license and a lifetime of studying Moroccan history, Islamic architecture, and Berber traditions, I bring the past to life. But more importantly, I offer you what no guidebook ever can: a genuine human connection to the soul of this city.
